Privacy Policy

How Zesu HomeLab handles information across its public website, community, game servers, and operator-managed infrastructure.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Plain-language summary

Zesu HomeLab is a privately operated gaming community. The public website has no public account system or advertising program. Normal website and game-server operation can still create technical records such as IP addresses, game identifiers, timestamps, connection activity, moderation records, and security logs.

1. Scope

This policy describes privacy practices for the Zesu HomeLab public website, Zesu-operated game servers, community administration, and related operator-managed infrastructure. Third-party services such as Discord, Steam, game publishers, Google, and hosting or network providers have their own privacy practices.

2. Information that may be processed

Depending on how you use Zesu services, information processed for ordinary operation may include IP addresses and network information, browser or user-agent information, request timestamps and requested URLs, in-game usernames or platform identifiers, connection and session activity, server events, chat or gameplay records where a game or moderation system records them, reports you submit, and moderation or administrative actions.

Zesu does not ask website visitors to create a public website account and does not currently operate public website contact forms, advertising, or behavioral advertising profiles.

3. How information is used

Information is used as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the website and game servers, provide player access, troubleshoot problems, maintain service reliability, enforce community rules, investigate abuse or security incidents, perform administration, maintain backups, and recover services.

4. Website hosting and technical request data

The public website is delivered through third-party hosting and network infrastructure. Those providers may process ordinary request and security data, including IP addresses, device or browser information, request details, timestamps, and related technical data needed to deliver and protect the service.

5. Game servers and community services

Zesu-operated multiplayer servers may process technical and player-identifying information required by the applicable game, platform, or server software. This may include platform identifiers, IP addresses, connection history, gameplay or server events, moderation records, and logs used for security, administration, troubleshooting, or abuse prevention.

Discord is the primary community and player-information platform. Information you provide to Discord or other third-party platforms is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies.

6. Private Google backup integration

Zesu HomeLab uses a private, operator-controlled Google OAuth integration with rclone for infrastructure backup operations. It is not a public Google sign-in feature and is not offered for users to connect their Google accounts.

The integration transfers operator-controlled backup archives to operator-controlled Google Drive storage for disaster recovery.

7. Sharing and disclosure

Zesu does not sell personal information. Zesu does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed to service providers when needed to operate infrastructure, to game or platform services as technically required, when you direct or consent to the disclosure, to investigate abuse or protect users and systems, or when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

8. Retention

Zesu keeps operational information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including administration, troubleshooting, security, moderation, backup, recovery, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Different systems may have different retention periods. Backup copies may persist longer than active records until they rotate or expire through normal backup processes.

9. Security

Zesu uses administrative, technical, and access-control measures intended to protect operator-managed systems and backups. Access to private administration is restricted. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid sending sensitive personal information through game chat or ordinary community channels.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request information about personal data Zesu controls, request access or correction, request deletion, object to or limit certain uses, or make a privacy complaint. These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction and may be subject to exceptions.

To make a privacy request, email zesuhomelab@gmail.com. Zesu may need enough information to reasonably verify the request before acting on it.

11. Children and younger users

Zesu HomeLab is a general-audience gaming community and is not intended for children under 13. Zesu does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website. Users must also satisfy the minimum-age requirements of Discord, the applicable game or platform, and the laws where they live.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use Zesu services only with any permission from a parent or guardian that is required by applicable law or the relevant game or platform.

12. International users

Zesu is operated primarily for a North American community, but users may connect from other locations. Information may therefore be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where Zesu's service providers operate. Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction, and Zesu will address valid requests as required by applicable law.

13. Do Not Track and browser privacy signals

The public Zesu website does not currently use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising systems that respond differently to a browser's legacy Do Not Track setting. If Zesu later introduces technology that materially changes these practices, this policy will be updated as appropriate.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Zesu services, legal requirements, or supporting infrastructure change. The current version will be published at this URL with a revised update date.

15. Contact

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to zesuhomelab@gmail.com. Zesu intends to transition privacy correspondence to privacy@zesuhomelab.com after that forwarding address is operational.
